Improving Global Sustainability Through Better Contraceptive Access.

Through education and advocacy programs and campaigns, WCG is providing access to contraceptives and offering women and girls instruction on how to safely use them. We understand the link between smart family planning and contraception access and its impact on global sustainability. Here’s how we’re empowering women to make better, safer choices that have a global impact.

Our Impact

Expanding Effective Contraceptive Options (EECO)

The EECO project is designed to support the introduction of new and improved contraceptive methods to address method-related reasons for non-use and better meet the reproductive health needs of women and girls.

EECO is comprised of a consortium of partners that includes WCG, PSI, Every1Mobile, ICRW, and Evofem Biosciences. WCG leads the EECO project, bridging the private sector and non-profit worlds.

Project Dignity

Sanitary protection is a basic and often unmet need in low-income areas of the world. Due to the lack of affordable sanitary protection available, girls and women often improvise unhygienic and uncomfortable methods to manage their monthly periods.

WCG’s innovative Project Dignity addressed this unmet need which resulted in the distribution of 50,000 reusable menstrual cups in 16 countries.
