SAN DIEGO, CA ― Woman Care Global is pleased to announce that Saundra Pelletier, Chief Executive Officer, has been awarded the Athena San Diego’s Pinnacle Award announced on Thursday, May 1, 2014.
Athena San Diego’s Pinnacle Awards recognize extraordinary women, men, organizations and educators who personify Athena San Diego’s mission of fostering the personal and professional growth of women through mentoring, education, recognition, and leadership training.
Awards are presented to the individual or organization which has had a significant role in the development and advancement of skilled and talented women within their community. Awards are given out in 5 categories: Life Sciences, Technology, Services, Education, and Company/Organization.
Saundra has dedicated her life and career to empowering women. She traveled the country as a keynote speaker for women’s organizations and has raised awareness for international equality. “We need to make a conscious decision to invest in women by ensuring they have the tools to invest in themselves” says Ms. Pelletier, “I am grateful that there are organizations such as Athena San Diego striving to promote professional growth for women, and it is my honor to have been awarded their Life Sciences Pinnacle Award.”
